Truth: The number of people living to 100-years-old is on the rise.
… Does that necessarily equate to living better?
I really want you to think about that.
Because at the end of the day, what good is it living longer if our quality of life isn’t matching it?
My goal is for you to not just survive life, but to thrive in life.
To live a life that makes you want to actually reach it to year one-hundred.
And what you’re doing right now today, impacts the quality of your life down the road.
No matter what decade of your life you’re in right now, the quality of your life today dramatically affects what tomorrow, next week, and next decade look like.
Today I’m passing along 5 actionable things that you can immediately do to improve your quality of life.
Let’s get rolling:
Create a gratitude list. Who are you grateful for? Who stands for you? What are you beyond blessed for? Write it down!
Call a loved one. Pick someone in your life and call them this week to connect. Then call them next week, too – let them know you’re thinking of them!
Complete an act of service. Pay for the car behind you in the drive-thru, shovel your neighbor’s driveway, walk up to a stranger and give them a lovely compliment. Above all, expect nothing in return.
Bring humor into your life. Get out to a comedy club and surround yourself with happy and humorous people. Hello endorphins!
Take a trip. A weekend getaway or even a day trip – just clear your mind and shake up your routine.
Surround yourself with the right peeps. They say you’re the average of the 5 closest people you hang out with. Make those people count.
Listen – if you’re taking care of yourself from the inside out – there’s a great chance that you’ll live a longer life. Heck, me being 47 years old – I may not even be halfway through my life yet.
So we might as well make this life worth it, right?
That means being fulfilled spiritually, mentally, physically, and emotionally.
Imagine I told you that you would live to 100…
If that was the case – would you be happy knowing you have a string of fulfilling days ahead of you?
…Or are there areas in your life that could stand to be improved?
I want you to be brutally honest here.
